Camapign Chairperson: Christie Knowles
Christie is married to Jason who is not only her partner in life but her law partner as well with Cusimano, Keener, Roberts, Knowles & Raley PC. Jason and Christie have two great children, Caroline and Jason (“Jay”).
Christie is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Gadsden, Alabama. She serves on the Board of Directors of United Way of Etowah County, Gadsden Regional Medical Center, Gadsden Area Chamber of Commerce, Gadsden Commercial Development Authority, Gadsden Industrial Development Authority, Gadsden Kiwanis Club, James M. Barrie Center for Children and Gadsden Symphony Orchestra.

Pacesetter Camapign Chairperson: Catherine Martin
Catherine is a graduate from the University of Alabama. She is the Marketing Manager for The Exchange Bank of Alabama. She is married with two children and attends First Baptist Church. She is an active volunteer for several United Way projects including Day of Action, CommUnity Thanksgiving Day luncheon, Girlfriend Gala, and serves on the Board of Directors.
Catherine also serves on several other community boards including: Gadsden Cultural Arts Foundation, Etowah County Personnel Board, Etowah County Chapter of the University of Alabama Alumni Association and the Gadsden State Community College Marketing and Management Advisory Board.

Day of Action Chairperson: Dr. Valerie Richardson
Dr. Valerie Richardson currently serves as Vice President of Gadsden State Community College and is responsible for the Institutional Advancement and Student Services Divisions. Dr. Richardson is very active within the community and serves on numerous boards within Etowah and Calhoun Counties including Family Success Center, United Way of Etowah County, Gadsden Commercial Development Authority, Gadsden Rotary Club, American Red Cross of Etowah County, Big Brothers Big Sisters, to name a few. Dr. Richardson, her husband, John, and daughter, Octavia are faithful members of Word Alive International Outreach Church in Coldwater, Alabama. She attributes her success to her strong and passionate faith in God. Dr. Richardson prays for continued guidance as she provides services throughout Gadsden State Community College and the surrounding service communities. |
